Clean Boats Clean Waters Grant
This year, the district received a grant from Michigan's Clean Boats Clean Waters program. The grant enabled us to install two boat and trailer cleaning stations, one at Frankenmuth Memorial Park and the other at Zilwaukee Riverfront Park. Boaters can use these stations to clean any aquatic material off their watercrafts and trailers to help stop the spread of invasive species.

In addition to the cleaning stations, we are hosting two "Canoeing for Conservation" events where we will lead local paddle trips and talk about ways to help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.
