Board of Directors Vacancy
Saginaw Conservation District is accepting applications to fill one open position on its Board of Directors.
The appointee will serve the remainder of Nicholas A. Dague’s term, which expires 3/21/27. Nicholas A. Dague resigned from the board effective 1/12/2025.
The Saginaw Conservation District Board of Directors is comprised of 5 board members. Each member is elected by the registered voters of the district to serve a 4-year term. Applicants for the vacant position must be registered voters who reside in Saginaw County. The application deadline is June 9, 2025 at 4:30pm.
Board directors play a vital role in our organization as elected officials who serve as advocates of conservation practices in Saginaw County and beyond. Directors oversee District operations and assist with fundraising, event planning and partnership building. They are called upon to bring their input and knowledge to the table and contribute to discussions of the organizations mission, vision, values and strategy.

Board Meeting Schedule
Unless otherwise posted the board meetings currently take place on the third Thursday of the month at 9:00 am. All meetings will be conducted at the Saginaw Conservation District Office and are open to the public. Meeting changes or notifications will be posted on the board outside our office door as well as on this page.

Associate Board Member Openings
The Saginaw Conservation District is seeking volunteer associate board members for the Board of Directors. These positions are appointed, not elected, and do not have defined term limits or an official vote in board decisions. Associate members opinions are valued and participation in meetings and events is encouraged.
People who are interested in natural resource concerns in the county and would like to learn more and get involved are encouraged to inquire about an associate position. Interested candidates can contact the District Administrator by phone or email listed below.
